Ascendra ("we," "us") provides an AI-powered decision analysis tool at useascendra.io. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

• Your decision text — the description you submit on the /analyze page, sent to our AI provider to generate your report.
• Your email address — used to send you a copy of your report and to identify your account.
• Basic technical data — standard web logs (IP address, browser type) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To generate and email you your decision report.
• To improve the quality and reliability of the service.
• To communicate with you about your account, if you have one.

We do not sell your data. We do not use the content of your submissions to train external AI models.

Third-party processors

To operate Ascendra, we use the following processors, who handle data on our behalf:

• Anthropic — processes your decision text to generate the AI analysis.
• Resend — sends the report to your email address.
• Netlify — hosts the website and processes requests.

Data retention

We do not currently store your decision submissions in a persistent database beyond what's needed to generate and send your report. This will be updated if account features (such as saved report history) are introduced.
